Meditation Guide & Program Director

Steven Gauci

Steven Gauci (he/him) is the Meditation Guide and Program Director at Pacific Presence, where he supports students in developing a steady, compassionate meditation practice.

He began meditating in 2013 while seeking clarity and relief from overwhelming emotions, discovering through Buddhist-inspired methods that meditation is a simple, secular path to present-moment peace. Steven's approach emphasises simplicity, consistency, and the power of habit formation, drawing on the behavioural insights of James Clear and the mindfulness foundations of MBSR developed by Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn.

With 20 years of experience as a teacher and a background as a performer, he brings clarity, confidence, and an intuitive ability to help people understand concepts, all informed by ongoing study with teachers such as Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche and Sharon Salzberg.

Yoga Teacher & Operations Lead

Heidi Fox Lange

Heidi Fox Lange (she/her) is the Yoga Teacher at Pacific Presence, as well as the Operations Lead.

Heidi completed her Moksha yoga teacher training in India in 2008 and has taught various styles of yoga, including Hatha, Flow, Yin, and creative movement-based classes inspired by her background in dance and performance.

Over the years, she created workplace yoga programs, led community classes, and developed a deep appreciation for the ways movement, mindfulness, and human connection can support emotional wellbeing.

As a mother, wellness practitioner, and co-creator of Pacific Presence, Heidi brings warmth, empathy, creativity, and heart to the vision of creating spaces where people can slow down, reconnect, and feel supported.
